Attending MoMondays is a jump start to a wonderful week. It’s like cocooning in a world of laughter, peace and love. I am not exaggerating.
MoMondays is also a networking venue. But it’s different because it’s unique. You mix and mingle with other professionals in a relaxing environment and you get to learn from those speakers sharing true personal stories that make you reflect on your own.
Forgiveness was the main topic of this week’ MoMondays held in Toronto. Whether being in an abusing relationship or dysfunctional family, forgiveness is the course of action that those speakers took in order to move on with their life.The nature of forgiveness is mustering up genuine compassion for those who have wronged us, instead of allowing anger toward them that will eat away at us. When you give yourself permission to forgive you discard mental barriers impacting your personal development.
Forgiving is, first of all, forgoing revenge. Forgiveness also involves giving up vengeful anger. You don’t surrender. You win!
If no one is forgiven, then everyone can be blamed by everyone else, and no one will have to take responsibility for it.
